The AOEMM will be organising the 34th Technical Updates on “Mental Resilience At The Workplace: Are We Doing Enough?” will be held on 22 September 2019 at Hotel Istana Kuala Lumpur.

The points that will be covered includes:

Objectives

Mental resilience has become the buzzword in the workplace today. Addressing the issues of mental resilience is important for employees or employers since it can promote productivity and boost morale whilst ignoring them can negatively contribute towards mental illness or making it worse. At the end of the TU, participants will have a better understanding of the importance of mental resilience in the workplace and what can be done to manage and promote mental wellness.

Hence, participants will be able to learn about:

  • The impact of mental resilience in the workplace
  • Assessment of mental health in the workplace
  • Management of mental health issues
  • Promotion of mentally healthy workplaces

Who should attend the course?

Occupational Health Physicians, Occupational Health Doctors, Medical Specialists, Medical Practitioners, Occupational Health Nurses, Assistant Medical Officers, Safety and Health Officers and Assistant Environmental Health Officers.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Points

  • 12 Continuous Education Program (CEP) points will be offered for eligible doctors to obtain Department of Occupational Safety and Health CEP points
