ANNOUNCEMENT – Online Certification Course


MRO/AMRO/BAT Online Certification Course


As announced on 17th March 2020, all training conducted by the Academy from end of March to end of June end would be deferred, until further notice. However due to requests from our clients, AOEMM has decided to restart the training sooner, but with some changes made necessary by the current COVID-19 pandemic. From 1st June onwards, all MRO, AMRO and BAT trainings will be conducted online except for the examinations which will be conducted as sit-in examinations.

Details of the training are as follow:

1.        The Course

1.1    MRO Course

All lectures will be conducted online over 2 days (Saturday and Sunday, from 0900 – 1300 and from 1400 – 1700). The online lectures will be repeated over several weekends and registered participants may choose to attend the lectures on any date at their convenient. However, they have to attend both sessions in full as attendance for part of the day session is not allowed. REMEMBER – You have to attend both days of the training in order to qualify to sit for the exam. Your attendance will be monitored!!!

1.2    AMRO Course

All lectures will be conducted online over 2 days (1st day 0900 – 1300 and 1400 – 1700, and 2nd day 0900 – 1300). Practical demos and hand-on training will be conducted during the examination days.

The online lectures will be repeated over several days and registered participants may choose to attend the lectures on any date at their convenient. However, they have to attend both sessions in full as attendance for part of the day session is not allowed. REMEMBER – You have to attend both days of the training in order to qualify to sit for the exam. Your attendance will be monitored!!!

1.3    BAT Course

Currently this course is only offered to client companies as in-house course. Details are available on request.

2.        Course Examinations

Examinations and practical sessions (for AMRO Course) will be conducted as sit-in session on dates/times and venues to be announced by AOEMM. The examinations and practical will be conducted on several dates in several locations – KK, Miri, JB, KL, Penang and Kuantan (depending on number of requests received).

MRO participants will be given a 1 hour revision session followed by the MCQ Exam. AMRO participants will attend the practical session (3 hours) followed by the MCQ Examinations.

Results for all 3 course will be announced within 10 working days.

Note: participants must sit for the MRO, AMRO or BAT examinations,  within 6 months after the 1st session attended (Day 1). Failure to observe this requirement will require a participant to attend/pay the full course again in order to sit for the exam.

3.        Training Dates

4.        Certificates

Participants who completed the course training will be awarded with Certificate of Attendance. Those who pass the examination will be awarded Certificate of Achievement.

5.        Course Fees

MRO and AMRO (Course + Exam) = RM850

MRO and AMRO (Course only) = RM750

MRO and AMRO (Exam only) = RM100

Note:

Cost for in-house training for all 3 courses are available on request.

Course material will be provided as downloadable files on receipt of full payment/company GL for participation with no extra charges. Hard copies is available upon request at RM100 per copy.

Full payment or Company GL is required for the seat/s confirmation. The Joining Instructions and personal access code to attend the course will be emailed once participation is confirmed.

7.        Others

The conduct for all the courses and their examinations shall strictly follow the Malaysian Government MCO SOP for COVID-19 pandemic. Sit-in sessions/examinations may be cancelled or venue changed if limitations are made by the MCO. Participants are also required to be free from any COVID-19 illness signs and symptoms (fever, cough, breathlessness etc) to attend the sit-in practical and examinations.
